API Reference

Three interfaces make up the Simple Cloud API:

Each interface represents a common class of application services in the cloud. The Simple Cloud API provides a simple interface with adapters for the corresponding services available from all major cloud vendors. We provide adapters for the following services:

Rackspace Cloud Files
GoGrid Cloud Storage
Queue API
Amazon SQS
Windows Azure Queue Storage

Document API
Amazon SimpleDB

These interfaces are currently under development. They will evolve over the next few months until their production release as the Zend_Cloud component in Zend Framework.

We invite you to take part in this evolution. Please leave your feedback in our forum. Specific feedback about the individual interfaces may be left on the proposals. Code and documentation contributions are also welcome. Please refer to the Contributing to Zend Framework guide to get started as a Simple Cloud API contributor.
